Leon Yoong is an accomplished product development and industrial design executive with three decades of experience driving global design strategy across consumer, retail, and industrial sectors. As Senior Vice President at Techtronic Design Asia, he leads a multidisciplinary organization of over 200 professionals, orchestrating an end-to-end product creation engine from research to market launch support. Under his strategic leadership, his teams have delivered over 100 prestigious, jury-led international design awards and transformed the industries they serve. An early adopter of new technology, Leon integrates custom AI solutions into workflows to accelerate innovation and embed circular economy principles into commercial frameworks. He holds a BA in Industrial Design from RMIT University and an Executive MBA from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
